Product information and care instructions

Outdoor area

Our outdoor furniture is primarily made of aluminum. The frames are either anodized (anodized) or powder-coated. The aluminum furniture is light, yet stable, often easy to stack and completely weatherproof. Only in (indoor) swimming pools can the surface be attacked by chlorine and harsh disinfectants. The seat and back surfaces are made of plastic mesh or polyester fabric. Some models have a completely braided aluminum structure. The materials are tear-resistant and UV-resistant.

Care
Clean the furniture only with simple (soapy) water and please do not use harsh chemical cleaning additives. The furniture can also be carefully cleaned with a steam jet. As a precaution, the models made of stainless steel should not be used in salty air, at least there is a risk of corrosion. We recommend cleaning the furniture regularly with light soapy water and/or treating the metal with a stainless steel care product. For outdoor use we offer Werzalit, Inox, so-called HPL and natural wood table tops. Please note the information at the respective catalog locations. In principle, outdoor tables should never be stored “upside down” as the water usually cannot drain off due to the shape of the edges.

Outdoor fabrics
We have expanded our collection of high-quality SUNBRELLA outdoor fabrics as requested. You can find information about our reference materials in the following PDF document:

Care of upholstery materials

Interior wooden furniture

Our indoor furniture is mostly made of beech, sometimes also made of oak. We offer the individual models untreated (raw) and in the standard stain colors: natural, walnut, cherry, cognac, mahogany, wenge and black.

Color
We expressly reserve the right to color deviations due to the different structures and colors of the wood and the processing technology, especially since the models are produced by different suppliers. Please do not expose the furniture to direct and long-term sunlight. Color changes due to sunlight are not a reason for a complaint. Models that we offer in raw form must be completely sanded again before further surface processing due to the storage time.

The bentwood furniture we offer either has a so-called patent connection (/27) and/or arch connections (/22). Rear cleats and seat frame are connected with carriage bolts. The models are delivered packaged. Please check the screw connection and tighten it if necessary, while avoiding overtightening the screws. The screw connections must be checked repeatedly, especially at the beginning of use, as bentwood furniture initially reacts to the seat load.

Depending on the nature of the floor, the models must be fitted with gliders by the customer so that the braking effect of the wood on the floor coverings is reduced. Damp floors can also attack the stain on tables and seating and lead to discoloration of the coverings. We supply many models with so-called plastic robust gliders at the factory. If you use felt pads, please pay attention to wear. Worn felt pads can permanently damage the floor.

Care
When caring for wooden furniture, it is important to remember that it should never be cleaned wet, but only with a damp cloth (without the addition of cleaning products). The surfaces must be rubbed dry immediately, otherwise paint damage will occur. Damp clothing, umbrellas, etc. must not be placed on wooden furniture, as this moisture can also cause damage. Likewise, chrome parts should always be rubbed dry after damp cleaning to avoid streaks and damage to the surface. Chairs may not be placed on freshly wiped table tops. As a general rule, chairs should not be placed with their seats on maple panels (so-called rubbing panels).

Upholstery
To upholster chairs with wooden seats, we use a padding board with 30 mm foam, which we attach directly to the models with so-called carriage bolts. For quality reasons, we do not use upholstery panels inserted or glued into the seat frame for bentwood furniture. The specified fabric requirement only applies to plain-colored and small-patterned fabrics with a fabric width of 140 cm. We cannot accept any liability for the quality of reference material submitted. For flat fabrics, the correct side must be marked. Please also note our expanded in-house collection of interesting fabrics. We also have a large selection of laminated, veneered and solid wood table tops in our range. For additional deliveries, please refer to the date of the first delivery because we reserve the right to make technical changes.

Tables
Tables and table frames are always delivered disassembled and must be assembled by the customer. All table frames can be combined with all table tops (exception: aluminum tables with stone or solid wood tops). Please note the maximum table top sizes for the respective table frames. Single-column tables are generally not suitable for creating tables. Our marble slabs are polished or polyester coated. Depending on the intensity of use, please rub the polished marble slabs with a care product or green soap and wipe up any spilled drinks immediately, otherwise the stains cannot be removed. Polyester-coated panels require less maintenance, but must not be exposed to direct sunlight, otherwise discoloration will occur, which also occurs when hot objects are placed directly on the panel. Granite slabs are recommended because they are insensitive due to their material hardness. For commercial use, MDF base panels are glued under the natural stone panels, as directly dowelling the table top would not withstand the stress.
