The so-called hairpin designs are now genuine classics and began their triumphal march through the living rooms of the design-conscious consumer class in the 1950s, although they were developed in the early 1940s due to an acute shortage of materials.
The Colette series, consisting of a chair and bar stool , picks up on this timeless trend and brings it into the present day. A matt black powder-coated metal frame with a thin tubular diameter and a continuous filigree frame supports a softly moulded seat and backrest shell in natural, black or stained walnut.
