Teak boards 25 mm thick, untreated
Teak is a tropical hardwood that initially has a honey-brown colour. If untreated teak is exposed to the weather, it acquires the characteristic silver-grey patina. Depending on the weather conditions, this patina can become darker and even greenish in colour.
Teak care instructions:
Our teak boards are untreated. Even when exposed to the elements, the quality does not deteriorate.
We recommend allowing the furniture to weather to achieve the silver-grey patina typical of teak.
We recommend cleaning the wood with warm water and a brush.
However, if you want to maintain the colour of the wood, you should treat the furniture with teak oil 1-2 times a year. (clean beforehand).
